McNett® is pleased to announce a $5000 donation to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF). By way of its personal care brand, Outgo™, McNett was able to raise the funds through a special fundraising promotion. During the months of October and November, Outgo offered its Ultra Compact Microfiber Towel in a pink color with an embroidered breast cancer ribbon. The towels were sold exclusively in Army and Air Force Exchange Service (Exchange) Military Clothing (MC) stores and on the Outgo Facebook page. Over the years, I've acquired and even assembled all kind of kits ranging from first aid kits, fishing kits, and all types of survival kits. But, recently I had the opportunity to review another kind of kit and they've found a true fan in me. McNett produces and distributes all types of outdoors gear for various activities, but it was their Gear Aid Kit series that really stirred my interest.</p>

Most of the time when gear gets “worn out”, it’s because one defective component becomes a critical failure, rendering the entire piece of gear useless. Repair seems too expensive or too much hassle—once you’ve torn your jacket or busted a zipper, it’s trash time, right?
Not anymore: Whether it’s a torn pack, cracked buckle, ripped tent mesh, or leaky sleeping pad, Gear Aid makes a wide variety of repair products to restore pretty much anything you can break.
